Fall is in the air and art is everywhere as the Downtown Arlington Farmer’s Market welcomes visitors of all ages to celebrate the annual Fall Art Craft Festival. This event takes place at the Market on Sat. Oct. 26, from 8am-2pm.
The admission-free festival takes place on Front St just east of Mesquite and features talented artisans showing their work. Genres range from soaps and lotions, one-of-a-kind gift baskets, jewelry, photographic art, gourmet pet treats, artisan bread, crochet, hats and accessories, local honey, homegrown salsas and jams and other local treats and of course veggies & fruits. You will also find unique Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas items.
For family-friendly fun, enjoy the always-popular Children's Costume Contest starting at 10 a.m. with safe trick-or-treating throughout the event. Other activities for youngsters include hula hooping, bean bag toss, and sidewalk art.
