Maverick Theatre Company Presents "West Side Story"

The University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Theatre Company presents WEST SIDE STORY. Two youngsters from rival New York City gangs fall in love, but tensions between their respective friends build toward tragedy. WEST SIDE STORY runs March 1st – 5th, 2017.

Direction of WEST SIDE STORY is by Assistant Professor Dr. Anne Healy. Musical Direction is by Dr. Katherine Noone. Orchestra Director is Dr. Clifton Evans. Pianist is Tiffany Tsay. Choreographers are Amanda Jackson and Meredith Knight. Dance Captain is Marissa Bateman. Lighting Designer is Peter Leonard. Scenic Designer is Kim LaFontaine, Sound Designer is Matt McGregor, Costume Design is Laurie Land, DJ Badon is Technical Director and Joe Pauli is Asst. Technical Director, Jared Land is Production Manager. Neil Farrell is stage manager.

WEST SIDE STORY is presented in the UT Arlington Mainstage Theatre (Fine Arts Building, North Section) located at 502 South Cooper Street on the UT Arlington campus. Performances of WEST SIDE STORY are March 1, 2, 3, 4 at 8pm and March 5 at 2:30 pm, 2017. Tickets are $12 for general public and $10 for students/senior citizens/UTA faculty & staff.
