Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl is Performed by Maverick Theatre Company April 10, 12, 15 & 17, 2019

The University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Theatre Company presents EURYDICE by Sarah Ruhl. In EURYDICE, Sarah Ruhl reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists, and breathtaking visual effects, the play is a fresh look at a timeless love story.

EURYDICE is presented in the UTA Studio Theatre (Fine Arts Building, North Section, Room 137 located at 502 South Cooper Street. Performances of EURYDICE are April 10th, 12th, 15th, and 17th at 8:00 pm and April 13th at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $8 for students/senior citizens/UTA faculty & staff.
