In conjunction with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the Arlington Museum of Art brings you Scenes of the Nativity. This collection of 27 lithographs and woodblock prints from the 16th and 17th centuries features artwork from Rembrandt, Albrect Dürer, Peter Paul Rubens, and more. The exhibit tells the story of the Nativity through art in a way most people haven't seen. So bring the family and come visit to see this incredible collection of art.
Additionally, AMA's Executive Director, Chris Hightower, will be putting on a lecture series over the Nativity Story on Thursdays from 6-7pm. This will be a multi-part lecture series, each one covering a different part of the Nativity Story.
The dates and subjects for these lectures are:
November 20 - The Annunciation
December 4 - The Visitation & The Journey
December 11 - The Adoration
December 18 - The Nativity & The Holy Family
More information about this exhibit can be found on the museum's website.
