Two Performances by Timeless Concerts of Music of Dance!

Music of Dance will have its first performance on Saturday, September 24 in Ft. Worth at the Holt Hickman Center in the Belltower Chapel on Wichita Street.

Timeless Concerts will perform the music of dances through the ages, from the menuet, to waltzes and tangos from composers as diverse as Rossini of Italy, Shostakovich of Russia, Ravel of France, plus Piazzolla and Villoldo of Argentina. They will be accompanied by professional dancers James Gonzales and Lydia Cabrera, from the Arthur Murray School of Dance, Ft Worth, on a couple of special selections. Their vocalists will sing beautiful songs of Mexico, Italy and musicals. As usual, Erik Barnes will provide post-concert music on the piano and take your requests. BYOB is accepted at this location. Timeless Concerts will provide complimentary wine by the glass, soft drinks, and a few snack items including Pixie Popcorn. There is table seating for up to 11, or private tables for 2.

The Music of Dance will be performed again by Timeless Concerts on Saturday October 1 in Arlington at Show Me the Monet art gallery on south Cooper in Gracie Lane. Enjoy the same music that was performed the previous week, but in a small intimate setting surrounded by beautiful art in the Show Me The Monet gallery of fine art. Seating will be recital style rather than table seating with only 50 unassigned seats available. (Unfortunately there is no room for the dancers in this setting.) Complimentary wine by the glass and soft drinks will be provided.

Evening in France! Musical Entertainment by Timeless Concerts

Enjoy the beautiful music of composers Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, popular songs of France by Hubert Giraud and more. In the 1920's and 30s, Ravel was internationally regarded as Frances' greatest living composer, and Claude Monet was considered one of the greatest artists of that time. Music by Ravel has been featured in movies such as The Dark Knight Rises, Mozart in the Jungle, and 10.

Timeless Concerts will perform several of Ravel's chamber music works, including arrangements of "Valse Nobles" and "Le Tombeau de Couperin." Their tenor, Sergio Cepeda, and soprano, Sabrina Romero-Wilson, will sing art songs and arias of various French composers of the classical and impressionist era as well as more contemporary gems. Their instrumentalists are violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, violist Tim Angel, cellist Oliver Schlaffer, pianist Heejung Kang.

This concert will be in the Rose Garden Tea Room in south Arlington on July 9 from 8-11pm. Please note that there will be fewer tickets at the tea room for more comfort for the audience and better acoustics overall. Timeless Concerts will provide complimentary light snacks and soft drinks. Please remember that BYOB is not an option at the tea room; their choice wine for purchase will be available at $8 per class or $20 per bottle.

Timeless Concerts Presents Spain to Latin America

Timeless Concerts will be back at the Rose Garden Tea Room on Sat. April 23, 8 pm to perform their Spain to Latin America concert.

Tenor Sergio Cepeda and soprano Sabrina Romero-Wilson perform romantic and charming songs of Latin America, and Zarzuela of Spain (Spanish traditional musical comedy). Timeless Concerts has permission by Héctor Armienta, the composer of "Zorro", the opera premiered by the Ft Worth Opera Company, to perform a duet from his opera and arrange the accompaniment for their instrumentalists. Pianist Heejung Kang, violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, violist Tim Angel and cellist Oliver Schlaffer will perform the 3 movement quartet of Joaquin Turina of Spain (1890-1949), as well as works of Astor Piazzolla of Argentina (1921-1992), Manuel Ponce (1882-1948) of Mexico and more. As usual, the post-concert party will feature pianist Erik Barnes, and complimentary soft drinks, wine and snacks will be provided.

Seating is assigned in order of ticket purchases; those who purchase tickets early will have seats closer to the performers than those who buy later. Also, if wanting to be seated in a group, please purchase tickets as a group, or write in the "notes" the name of the person you would like to join. One youth may attend free per paying adult, but please let them know if bringing a youth so there are enough seats provided. The venue is set up for tables for 8, or private tables for 2.

This concert will entertain with an evening of tangos of Piazzolla, previews of upcoming concerts and passionate opera arias we love most. These selections will include music of Joaquin Turina of Spain, Vincent Kennedy of Ireland, traditional songs of Mexico, and beautiful music of French composers. Timeless Concerts' performers will be tenor Sergio Cepeda, mezzo soprano Rachel Moon, soprano Sabrina Romero-Wilson, cellist Oliver Schlaffer, violinist/violist Tim Angel, pianist Heejung Kang and LeeAnne Chenoweth on violin. Pianist Erik Barnes returns to make the post-concert party music fun.

As always, wine, soft drinks and snacks will be provided.

In addition to higher ticket prices, fundraising will include playing the "times 10" game again. Last time an audience member won $200 cash. To play, bring an envelope with your name and phone number on it, filled with a check, or cash for any amount; $10 or $20 is easiest. At the end of the concert, an envelope/name will be announced and that person wins 10 times the amount they had in their envelope. Feel free to add any amount to the envelope, but Timeless Concerts needs to cap the winning amount at $200, so they will still have some new funds! (Tickets will be back to the normal $30-39 range in April.)

Timeless Concerts hopes for a great new year ahead, and will do their best to plan enjoyable evenings out for their audience. IF there are reasons to be cautious about widespread illness, they will of course postpone the concert and honor your tickets at a later date. Purchased tickets can be used at a rescheduled concert, or any concert in 2022. However, please let them know in advance if you are not attending a concertso that others can use your seats at sold out concerts. Also, please let them know if you plan to attend with an older ticket* so they can be sure and have seating for you.

Timeless Concerts to Perform "Germany to Austria" Concert November 13, 2021

Timeless Concerts performers are looking forward to their next concert, Germany to Austria, at 8 pm. on Nov. 13, 2021. They will be in Fort Worth this time, at the Holt Hickman Center which is about 10 minutes south of downtown Ft Worth, just off 287.

Travel through time to the elegant era of the Viennese waltz, as Timeless Concerts musicians accompany experts dancing the waltz. A beautiful romantic piano quartet by Robert Fuchs, Hungarian Dances by Brahms, plus songs of Strauss, Mozart and Lehar (known for his opera "Merry Widow") will follow. They will end the concert with songs from the beloved musical, "Sound of Music", set in Austria. Post-concert, enjoy giving pianist Erik Barnes your requests. Complimentary wine, soft drinks and snacks will be available. Concert performers will be violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, violist Tim Angel, cellist Oliver Schlaffer, pianist Heejung Kang, soprano Sabrina Romero Wilson and tenor Sergio Cepeda.

Tickets are on sale now. Seating will be assigned in order of date/time of purchase. A full table at this location seats 10. If a group wishes to sit together have someone buy the tickets together as a group, or send a message about whose table you would like to join well in advance of the concert.

Perhaps "business casual" would be a good description for suggested attire. There really are no rules; some dress up more, some dress down, it's your choice!

Bizet's opera "Carmen" will be a significant portion of this performance by Timeless Concerts, as Dr. Tim Angel, violinist, will perform the virtuosic and entertaining "Carmen Fantasy" by Pablo de Sarasate. Tenor Sergio Cepeda and mezzo soprano Rachel Moon will perform arias from the famously flirtatious opera Carmen, as well as French art songs. The trio of pianist Heejung Kang, cellist Oliver Schlaffer and violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth will accompany the Carmen pieces as well as perform tangos of Astor Piazzolla.

Complimentary desserts will be included, wine and soft drinks will be available. Table seating for up to 8.

General admission is $35, seniors 60+ are $30, college students are $15 and one youth age 11-17 is free with one paying adult.

London to Dublin! Music Concert from Timeless Concerts, Saturday July 17, 8 pm

July 17 will be Timeless Concerts' first performance at the Lake House by Lake Arlington. It's hot in the summer. Dress as casually as you wish...shorts, sundresses, athletic wear, be comfortable. The performers will not be in formal wear this time.

From the beautiful compositions of great composers of England and Ireland, to the jigs of the countryside, you will be entertained by the music presented. As always, Timeless Concerts will feature music by composers well-known from the countries highlighted (Holst, Vaughn-Williams and Andrew Lloyd Webber) but also a few new discoveries (Vincent Kennedy and Thomas Dunhill). One of our featured works will be a chamber music version of the ethereal "Lark Ascending", by Vaughn-Williams, based on the poem of the same name by George Meredith.

Performing for you will be violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, violinist/violist Tim Angel, pianist Erik Barnes, tenor Don O'Neal LeBlanc, soprano Sabrina Romero-Wilson, and cellist Jim Higgins. Table seating (for up to 8) is available with complimentary wine, soft drinks and dessert plates. BYOB is allowed.

An Evening in Italy Provided by Timeless Concerts in Downtown Arlington on April 24

Evening in Italy is coming up April 24 at 8 pm at the Arlington Museum of Art with music by Italian composers that span centuries, from the early music of Rossini and Paganini, to Italian-American Henry Mancini. Italians love their opera so Timeless Concerts' tenors Don O'Neal LeBlanc and Sergio Cepeda will sing opera's greatest hits from Puccini to Verdi. Find out which opera aria has been performed in 18 different movies! Also, learn how a famous piano concerto by Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninov was based on a theme by Paganini. Timeless Concerts' instrumentalists are pianists Heejung Kang and Erik Barnes, violinist/violist Tim Angel, cellist Oliver Schlaffer and violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth.

Timeless Concerts' performers hope with all the losses our audience has endured this past year, that they can provide an event that everyone can look forward to enjoying. Tickets for Evening in Italy are now live on their website. Beautiful music and time spent together, is more important than ever and healing. Although Timeless Concerts is very sad that they didn't perform our annual "Valentines Special and Fundraiser," they say they are blessed, because their nonprofit organization is surviving, and will perform a great concert on April 24!

Timeless Concerts is pretty certain that covid restrictions will be required in late April when they perform with things expected to be the same as when they performed two socially distanced concerts in July and September of 2020, such as temperatures possibly be taken at the entrance, masks required when not at your table, only an audience of 70, and covered dessert plates on the individual tables instead of the traditional buffet. Hopefully, their July 10 concert can be maskless and back to normal.

Timeless Concerts - Music Along the Orient Express

Timeless Concerts' Saturday, September 26, 8pm concert theme is “Music along the Orient Express!” The famous train route ran from Istanbul to Paris and then… crossed the English channel! How? The train cars were put on a boat! For the final part of the musical journey, they will welcome you to England with the theme of the Downton Abbey drama series, plus play music of the 1900s that would have been heard by the residents there, at the time portrayed. Along the “route”, enjoy French composers Ravel and Claude-Michel Schonberg (of Les Miserables fame), Wolfgang Mozart and Franz Lehar of Austria, Zolton Kodaly of Hungary and more. Concert performers include pianists Kathy Abrahamson and Erik Barnes, (Erik will also entertain post-concert) cellist Jim Higgins, violist Tim Angel, tenor Don O’Neal LeBlanc, and violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth.

Added note: Timeless Concerts has decided to postpone their Nov. 14 concert until 2021. Due to a cap on audience capacity, and therefore, ticket income, they decided that performing another low capacity socially distanced concert would put them into debt. Wanting to avoid this and be fiscally responsible, they have sadly decided to take a break until Feb. 2021 when they hope they can once again sell tickets to full capacity at the museum. They will perform audience favorites from tangos to passionate Italian songs, let you in on some future concert previews, and play a fundraiser game that gives you the chance to win $200 with a $20 donation. Their post-concert party will be made extra special by pianist Erik Barnes, who takes your requests and makes you feel like dancing! Post-concert buffet features fruit/cheese/desserts and complimentary wine and soft drinks, BYOB acceptable.

Because Timeless Concerts' Leap Year Special serves as a fundraiser, tickets are a bit higher than other concerts throughout the year. Spanish Music Concert Presented by Timeless Concerts

Timeless Concerts performers hope you can join them on Saturday, November 9 for their exciting Spanish concert beginning at 8pm at the Arlington Museum of Art. They will present Spanish music of the early 20th century, songs and opera arias that have humorous melodramatic stores to tell, as well as instrumental tangos and habaneras. The concert will feature soprano Judith Rodriguez, tenor Sergio Cepeda, and the Chenoweth-Kang-Hood trio.

Timeless Concerts presents "Sergei and the Seasons!" Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at the Arlington Museum of Art

Timeless Concerts will be celebrating two famous composers with the first name of Sergei, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Sergei Prokofiev.

Music by Sergei Rachmaninoff was played in the movie "Seven Year Itch", starring Marilyn Monroe, and more recently in movies such as "Somewhere in Time" and "My Best Friend's Wedding." Rachmaninoff not only composed the greatest and most beautiful piano concertos, but also songs. Tenor Don O'Neal LeBlanc will perform some of these songs, and soprano Judith Rodriguez will sing "Vocalise", all accompanied by pianist Dr. Heejung Kang, violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, and cellist Dr. Sara Birnbaum Hood. Dr. Kang will also perform a piano solo by Rachmaninoff.

The instrumental trio will perform music by the other Sergei, Sergei Prokofiev. They will play his "Romeo and Juliet Suite" and music in chamber music form from his most famous score for ballet. Timeless Concerts will also perform some colorful music that describes the seasons.

There will be a post-concert party as usual with complimentary wine and soft drinks, fruit/cheese/desserts buffet, and pianist Erik Barnes will take your requests. Timeless Concerts Presents a Casual Concert at the Arlington Museum of Art July 20.

Casual night at the museum! Tenors without tuxes! Come as you are; shorts or sundresses, Hawaiian shirts or caftans. The performers will all be casual, too. Come enjoy this different kind of Timeless Concerts evening, at the lower level amphitheater at the Arlington Museum of Art, Saturday, July 20, 2019.

The wonderful must-see Keith Haring exhibit on the main floor gallery will be standing where Timeless Concerts usually places the grand piano and table seating, so the concert had to make some adjustments. They'll be back in the main gallery Sept. 21. If you've been to a concert before, and looked over the iron railing by the back window, then you have seen the stage they'll be using.

Tenors Don O'Neal LeBlanc and Sergio Cepeda, plus soprano Judith Rodriguez, will select their favorite things to sing. There will also be some interesting gypsy-ish pieces for their instrumental trio selections, as well as German classics. There will be a joyful music party as always. Post-concert, Erik Barnes will be the pianist, and his music will be flowing throughout the three levels of the museum, as the lower level is open to the very top. Wine and soft drinks will be served.

Enjoy browsing the exhibit after the concert. Get your tickets soon, as there is less seating than usual.

Warsaw to Paris Classical Music Concert by Timeless Concerts at the Arlington Museum of Art

Saturday, April 27 at 8:00 pm, Timeless Concerts will present WARSAW TO PARIS at the Arlington Museum of Art. Frederic Chopin, the ultimate Romantic composer, famous for his compositions for piano will be our featured Polish composer. France will be represented by Bizet, Debussy aaaaand a female composer, Louise Viardot, who was a dear friend of Chopin! She also had a talented daughter who was a published composer, and we will perform one of her works, that adds viola to our violin/cello/piano trio.

Violinist/violist Dr. Timothy Angel, UTA violin professor, will make the group a quartet. The piano trio of violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, cellist Sara Birnbaum Hood and pianist Dr. Heejung Kang, will perform works of Chopin and Scharwenka, plus accompany French art songs and arias performed by soprano Judith Rodriguez, tenors Don O'Neal LeBlanc and Sergio Cepeda. Beautiful music and interesting stories are to be heard.

The hour-long concert is followed by a party with a live pianist who takes requests. There will be a complimentary wine/soft drinks/fruit/cheese/desserts buffet. BYOB accepted. Location: Arlington Museum of Art. Individual tickets are $15-$33.

Timeless Concerts presents their annual Valentines Special Concert at the Arlington Museum of Art on Saturday, February 9 at 8pm.

Individual tickets range from $25 to $59. A private table for 2 is $135. As is customary at our Valentines Special, our performers select beautiful, romantic music from around the world and of all eras in time, adding some spicy tangos and surprises, as well as previews of the upcoming season, and a bit of humor, too! Performers: the Chenoweth-Hood-Kang Trio, plus tenors Sergio Cepeda and Don O’Neal LeBlanc, and soprano Judith Rodriguez. Included in ticket price is a post-concert party with live piano music, when music requests are accepted, (for dancing if you wish), complimentary fruit/cheese/desserts/wine/soft drinks, BYOB accepted.

*Seating Note* Tables are filled in order of date tickets are purchased, from table 1-17. Because this isn't auditorium seating, there really isn't another solution. Adding people to your group at the last minute may cause all of you to be moved to a different (higher numbered, farther back) table where there is space. Timeless Concerts tries their best to make all seats good with a good sight-line.

Violins With Love! January 20 at the Arlington Museum of Art

Violins with Love is a joint fundraiser for both OPERATION KINDNESS (animal shelter) and TIMELESS CONCERTS! SUNDAY Jan. 20, 2:00 - 3:30 pm at the Arlington Museum of Art.

Come casual. Celebrate some of the best things in life: puppies, kittens and beautiful music! No admission price; it's up to you, from cash donations, to checks, to online giving by your phone, or just come to learn without giving.

Silent auction items will be there for your browsing/bidding, from a dog house built to your specifications, to Arthur Court platters, to an original Donray pastel and more. The Donray art piece is their showcase item, worth well over $1,000, bidding will begin at an affordable $300 for such a work of art. They will also have a "flea market" section with items under $40, (such as photo frames, a violinist-shaped wine bottle holder, etc) and a raffle ($10 per ticket) for a pair of Timeless Concerts tickets for any 2019 date. Timeless Concerts Presents Italy v Germany Concert

Timeless Concerts returns to the Arlington Museum of Art to present another in its long running series of classical concerts. An hour of music that spans centuries will begin at 8pm on Saturday, November 10.

The Chenoweth-Hood-Kang trio will represent Germany with some of the greatest and most famous music of all time composed in Germany: Beethoven and Brahms. Their tenor and soprano, Sergio Cepeda and Judith Rodriguez, will represent Italy with passionate Puccini and Verdi! Who is more dramatic and passionate, the Germans, or the Italians? Works by German film score composer Hans Zimmer will also be performed. Many may be surprised that although his name is not familiar, his scores certainly are, ranging from “Driving Miss Daisy” to “Pirates of the Caribbean.” The post-concert party is included in the ticket price, when you may give your requests to pianist Steve Stroud.
